I’ve been lucky enough to afford a skiing holiday in Andorra last winter (that is in 2009-2010) and that was it - I became addicted to skiing. On return to Scotland (my current location), my BF and myself went skiing almost every weekend until mid April. We tried all the Scottish ski resorts. Started off at Glenshee where we improved our ‘skiing in a blizzard’ technique. Then Glencoe where BF taught me parallel skiing (yes, I am a slow learner) and he also attempted to teach me ski fast (I am a slow skier too). We also visited Nevis Range for a day with our friends Jan and Ian and finished off the season with two awesome days Cairngorm – where I managed to actually teach Derek and his son Gavin how to ski! Well done to everyone!

Aviemore, Scotland. 20 degrees C. The ski is on…

Looking good…

Jan on the gondola – he’d never skied before.

Jan on the floor – he’d never skied before.

Danger? Danger’s my middle name.

I always ski in a T-shirt. And sleep with my ski goggles on.

Freestyle Gav. Freestyling.

Derek about to get the back-end of his ski’s out.

Should have turned on the traction control.

Kit-kat anyone?
